What happens in a session?
A session starts with a conversation: what's present for you today, what feels stuck, what you're curious about. From there, we might work with somatic movement (moving your body on purpose, so feeling has somewhere to go), chakra clearing (finding where your energy has stalled and helping it move again), shadow work (looking at what you'd rather not, gently), path finding (figuring out which direction is actually yours), or deep intuitive listening (me, listening for what you're not saying). We follow what the day calls for. Nothing is scripted. Everything is plain English, no mystic jargon dictionary required.
Why don't you offer packages?Â
I used to. Then I stopped. It casts what I do in a different light. A therapist doesn't sell you a twelve-pack of sessions before she knows what you're carrying. Neither do I. You come when you need to come. Some people need three sessions. Some need three years. I'd rather earn your return than presell it. Growth isn't something I move in bulk, and I don't want you locked into a number when what you actually need is to be met where you are, one session at a time.Â
No. That's the whole answer, but I'll give you the longer version too. Skeptics are welcome in this room; in fact, I like them. They ask the best questions. This work happens in the body, not in your beliefs. You don't need faith to feel your own shoulders drop, your own breath deepen, your own nervous system settle. Come curious. Come doubtful. Come exactly as you are. The body does its own convincing.Â
Do I have to believe in anything for this to work?
As many as serve you, and not one more. Some people come once, get what they came for, and go live their life. Others come for months, working through something layered. I won't tell you a number up front, because I don't know it yet, and honestly, neither do you. We'll both know when the work feels done, or when it's time to pause. Either way, nothing is sold in bulk here.Â
How many sessions will I need?Â
What if I cry? What if nothing happens?Â
Both are fine. Truly. Some sessions bring tears, some bring nothing you can name in the moment, and both are doing something. There's no wrong response here, no performance required. What I will promise is this: we will laugh too. That part is not optional. Healing work doesn't have to be solemn to be real, and in my experience, the laughing and the crying often live closer together than people expect.Â
In person or virtual?Â
Both. Private sessions happen in person or over Zoom, whichever fits your life. Group work, workshops, and circles happen in person, because there's something about being in a room together that virtual can't quite replace. Smaller virtual groups, up to about six people, are the exception. Wherever you are, there's a way to do this work.Â
No. This work sits alongside therapy and medical care, never instead of them. If you're working with a therapist or a doctor, keep them. I'm not trained to diagnose or treat, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I offer is a different kind of attention: on the body and the energy underneath the story. Many of my clients do both, and the two support each other well.Â
Is this a substitute for therapy or medical care?Â
I get that eyebrow raise a lot. Energy work over a screen sounds like it shouldn't work, and I understand the skepticism. Here's the truth: the body doesn't need to be in the same room as mine to respond. I guide you through the same somatic movement, the same chakra clearing, the same deep listening, and your nervous system does the rest, wherever you're sitting. I've watched it happen hundreds of times now. Distance is not the obstacle people assume it is.Â
How does this work over Zoom?Â
Of course. Send me a message or give me a call and tell me what's on your mind. I read every one myself, and I'll write back with an honest answer about whether I think this is a fit. It's not a formal consultation, just a real conversation.
Can I talk to you before booking?Â
Yes, and it's one of my favorite things to arrange. If there's someone in your life who could use an hour of being fully listened to, reach out and I'll set it up: gift card, scheduling, all of it. Some of the people I've worked with longest started as a gift from a friend who knew exactly what they needed before they did.Â
Can I gift a session to someone?Â
