In 2018, I formalized my practice, becoming a Certified Professional Coach in Transformational Coaching via Leadership That Works and earning my PCC from the International Coaching Federation. I count Wendy DeRosa and Guthrie Sayen as the mentors who shaped my path. Cheryl Evangelos has guided me for over twenty years; she is still the one I call when I need to return to my own internal truth.
These days I practice from my home in Camden, in person and over Zoom, and I'll travel for the right group. I'm also a journalist by training, an audiobook narrator, and I've spent years leading circles, including an eighteen-month book group that never once ran out of things to say. Somewhere along the way, I wrote a novel too.

Healing Roots
My grandmother was a healing practitioner. I watched her, as a girl, ease pain from the body and the heart, both at once. She never called it magic. She called it attention.
“Attention to energy, to what's out of balance, to a person's own power to heal themselves.”
I learned before I had words for it: the body knows things the mind hasn't caught up to yet. That knowing has become the seed of everything I do now.
The Theatre Years
For twenty years, theatre was my practice, though I didn't call it that then. I performed and directed and taught up and down the coast of Maine, and was the Artistic Director at Med-O-Lark. But the real work happened in the wings, watching an audience's faces change. That exchange, actor to audience, is a kind of energy work. Learning to read a room, to feel where the truth lives in a scene: that training carries into every session I lead today.
